CONTEND FOR THE FAITH

Sep 10, 2026  •  Evangelist Pastor Aaron Blaine

In a generation where truth is constantly being challenged, diluted, and redefined, God has called His people to contend for the faith. Jude reminds us that the faith entrusted to the Church is worth fighting for—not with anger, pride, or division, but with courage, conviction, discernment, and a life that reflects the truth of God's Word.

This message is a powerful call to recognize the dangers of false teaching, compromise, deception, and spiritual complacency. Not everything that sounds spiritual is from God, and not every voice deserves our agreement. We must know what we believe, know the Word of God, and be willing to stand firmly on truth when the culture around us tells us to compromise.

Contending for the faith means protecting what God has entrusted to us. It means refusing to water down the Gospel to make it more comfortable, refusing to trade conviction for acceptance, and refusing to allow deception to quietly enter our lives, our homes, and the Church.

But Jude doesn't only tell us what to stand against—he reminds us how to stand. We are called to build ourselves up in faith, pray in the Holy Spirit, remain in the love of God, show mercy to those who are struggling, and reach those who are being pulled toward destruction.

The Church cannot afford to remain silent, passive, or asleep. This is not the time to retreat from truth. This is the time to contend.

🔥 Guard the faith. Stand on truth. Test every voice. Refuse compromise. Contend for what God has entrusted to you.

“Contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” — Jude 1:3
