11/23/25 | Evangelist Pastor Aaron Blaine | Domesticated Christianity
Have we made God too small?
In this message on Domestic Christianity, we look at Psalm 19:1–8, Hebrews 1:3, and Psalm 139 to confront the ways we try to shrink God down to something comfortable, predictable, and controllable. But if God is small enough to be fully understood, then He isn’t big enough to do the impossible.
Many believers unintentionally “lock God up,” expecting Him to move within the limits of our preferences, emotions, or expectations. Yet Scripture shows a God who fills the heavens, sustains all things by His word, knows every thought, and still works wonders beyond our comprehension.
This message calls us back to awe—back to a God who cannot be domesticated, tamed, or managed… only worshiped, trusted, and followed.
Let Him out of the box. Let Him be God.
